Pricing Associate Director

We are looking for a Pricing Associate Director to help our company to get price & reimbursement approval for our innovative products in the market.

In the current context where pricing represents a critical key success factor to the organization, the Pricing Associate Director is a transversal position that is responsible, in coordination and alignment with all relevant internal and external stakeholders both globally and locally, of leading the process and all required actions directed to the achievement of product reimbursement in the Spanish National Health Care System, under the leadership of the Pricing, Affordability & Regional Access Director and the corresponding BUDs.

This position reports into the Pricing, Affordability & Regional Access Director.

**Main roles & responsibilities include**:
Support the Pricing, Affordability & Regional Access Director in establishing a coordinated and integrated long, mid and short term plan with all relevant internal stakeholders, including General Management, Market Access, Policy, BUs, Finance and Medical at a local level, and aligned with Global Market Access and the Global product franchises, defining all appropriate actions with internal and external stakeholders aimed at achieving the reimbursement at target price as agreed with Global Pricing, and in the shortest feasible timing

Engage with BU, Medical Affairs and Market Access colleagues to think in innovative ways to maximize our pricing strategies

Define and implement an internal process to assess and estimate the potential sources of risk for the prices of currently reimbursed products, defining both likelihood and magnitude of the risk, in coordination with all other relevant company functions including BUs, MKT-Ax and Finance

Support the Pricing, Affordability & Regional Access Director in engaging, discussing and negotiating with relevant stakeholders at the Ministry of Health the conditions and relevant arguments supporting the reimbursement of our products, with the support and in coordination with all other functions involved

Lead all required processes with Global Pricing, EUCAN Access and all other internal stakeholders for reimbursed or net prices changes in Spain

Keep up to date detailed and deep knowledge of all regulation and processes involved in drugs price setting and review, anticipating potential changes and their implications

Education, Skills & Experience

EDUCATION

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree

Postgraduate (MBA, Market Access, Health Economics, or similar)

EXPERIENCE

3+ yrs experience in Pricing area

Preferably, prior experience in achieving positive P&R/HTA outcomes and/or experience in direct negotiation with local health authorities

In-depth understanding of payers and their perspective and processes in Spanish market as well as trends in Pricing & Reimbursement

Business Experience in different areas will be a plus.
