Operations Intern

We are looking for a highly motivated intern to support the Vice President of Operations for Continental Europe. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while contributing to projects that shape the future of student housing operations across Europe.

**Responsibilities**:
The responsibilities of the intern will include, but not be limited to:
Market Research and Analysis
- Conduct in-depth market research on trends in the student housing industry across Europe in different areas of the business.
- Analyse data and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop and maintain a database of competitors, market conditions, and emerging opportunities in different areas of the business.

Project Management Support
- Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of key operational projects.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and updates for stakeholders.
- Track project milestones and deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of objectives.

Operational Support
- Collaborate with the VP of Operations to identify areas for improvement across properties.
- Provide analytical support for ad hoc operational challenges and opportunities.
- Travel to various Yugo locations within Europe to assist with on-site assessments and project implementation.

Team Collaboration
- Liaise with regional teams to gather information and ensure alignment with broader company goals.
- Assist in organising and facilitating meetings with cross-functional teams.

Experience and Knowledge

Essential:
a. Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Market Research, Data Analytics, Business Management or similar field.

b. Demonstrated experience or coursework in market research, data analysis, or project management.

c. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with data visualisation or market research tools is a plus.

d. Strong interest in operations, real estate, or the student housing sector.

Desirable:
a. Willingness to travel across Europe as needed.

b. Project Management Experience or some basic knowledge.

c. Additional European Languages.
