We are relentlessly committed to developing customized logistics solutions that meet the ever-changing demands of our international clients. To drive our growth further and strengthen our market position, we are now seeking an experienced Business Unit Director (M/F/d). In this key position, you will be responsible for the strategic planning, management, and optimization of our business units in Portugal and Spain. We are looking for a Business Unit Director (M/F/d) who combines sales strength with an entrepreneurial mindset. Challenges you will tackle
- You will analyze the needs of existing customers, develop tailored solutions, and thus increase revenue in existing business areas.
- You will build a sustainable network of customers and business partners with the goal of generating significant growth.
- You will lead a decentralized team in Spain (Valencia) and Portugal (Palmela), implement personnel measures, and promote the individual development of employees.
- You will identify new business opportunities and ensure successful implementation with new clients and suppliers - also on-site.
- You will ensure the compliance with company-wide processes and continuously improve the operational procedures at the locations.
- You will monitor and manage the financial and operational key figures of the business units, ensuring effective use of resources.
- You will take responsibility for the results of the business unit.
- In your role as Business Unit Director, our central service units will support you, providing professional assistance in areas such as Human Resources, Finance and Office Management.
Qualifications that convince us
- Experience in new customer acquisition and building long-term customer relationships.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills - even across different locations.
- A degree in Logistics and/or Business Administration or equivalent qualifications.
- Excellent communication skills in Spanish, Portuguese, English and ideally German.
- High self-motivation, assertiveness and an entrepreneurial mindset.
