**About us**:
**Purpose of the job**:
**KEY ACTIVITIES**
- Obtain rates from our preferred steamship lines and ensure they are being updated and maintained;
- Define enhancements needed and liaise with corporate on corrective actions;
- Ensures seamless communication and alignment with Global, Regional and Area Freight Management;
- Be the intermediate between our region and HQ pricing team;
- Help and/or initiate the creation/maintenance of Desk Level Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures;
- Establish KPI’s and reports with regards to timely upload of rate files in our systems (timely, accurate, complete)
- Analysis and benchmark on rates received;
- Assist on creating and establishing input for QBR’s with our regional carriers;
- Assist sales on RFQ’s; work with s/s lines on requirements and rates
**Profile**:
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with operational, pricing, and financial processes;
- Excellent communication skills in English, additional European languages or Korean are an advantage;
- Excellent skills on Microsoft Office tools (Excel);
- Good interpersonal and communication skills;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Conceptual thinking, with an inventive approach;
- Cultural awareness;
- Personality: passionate, result oriented, self-starter, well-structured, professional
- Hands-on mentality, eager to take initiative new opportunities and deliver targets;
- Ability to work with high degree of autonomy, but also a good team player;
- A good doses of courage for exploring this new adventure with us.
