WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
This an exciting opportunity to work on Unilever’s largest and most iconic ice cream brand. We’re looking for a Senior Brand Manager - Magnum to join our Marketing Ice Cream team in Barcelona. You willl be leading the beloved and iconic brand Magnum for our Spain Ice Cream Business and will be a key part of the team.
You will lead a multifunctional team to implement plans in the market and monitor performance of the brand. You will collaborate with various cross-functional teams: Global & Regional Marketing, CMI, Trade, NRM, Demand Planning, Finance. You will also work closely with external partner agencies: media, PR, sponsorships, and influencer marketing.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
This role is a high visibility role within the Ice Cream business and combines Magnum brand role as well as additional responsibilities in the In Home (Retail) channel, this time across the full Unilever ice cream portfolio (8 amazing brands). A fantastic opportunity for an experienced brand manager looking to expand their breath of scope and responsibility.
MAGNUM:
- Integrated Magnum Marketing Plan development and deployment.
- Brand P&L & performance across all channels, to drive growth & profitability.
- Conduct brand audits, formulate local strategy (Jobs to be done, 8Q activity plans) and elaborate performance scorecards.
- Craft and land Media, PR and sponsorship plans for the brand.
- Innovation & Renovation projects: building launch plans, business cases, and channel strategies, customer sell-ins and legal & regulatory affairs.
- Input to volume forecasting, financial updates and monitor key indicators and drivers of brand performance (6P’s).
In Home Ice Cream portfolio:
- Works closely with Trade Marketing & Customer Marketing teams to manage everyday operations, and develop and execute Category / Brand building plans.
- Monitors In Home Ice Cream business performance in the market to implement appropriate plans. Nielsen & Kantar proficiency highly desirable.
- Strategic Operations & Planning: Volume forecasting process across In Home Ice Cream portfolio.
- Engage with key customers alongside CD and trade teams.
- Helps coaching of Brand Assistant in Brand Building skills and competencies.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- University degree, with an emphasis in business
- +8 years relevant, progressive marketing FMCG experience.
- You have an eye for design, a strong sense of aesthetics and are connected to trends and pop culture.
- Excellent communication skills.
- You are a solid analytical thinker and have a P&L owners’ mindset.
- Business planning and implementation experience.
- Passionate, energetic, results driven individual with proven leadership abilities.
- Proficient Level of English and Spanish is a must.
- Team leadership experience is a must.
