Fresco is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer for our IoT Team with Python and AWS experience to drive the design and development of the next generation of our multi-sided smart kitchen platform: the Fresco KitchenOS. Fresco is experiencing significant growth as an end-to-end IoT and guided cooking platform providing award-winning capabilities and experiences for appliance manufacturers, recipe producers, and home cooks.

**As a Senior Platform Engineer, you'll**:

**We're looking for someone with**:

- **3+ years of experience** building highly scalable distributed systems for IoT (think 1 million+ devices).
- **3+ years of experience** architecting and deploying secure IoT platforms.
- **Python & AWS pro**: You're fluent in both Python and AWS services like IoT Core, S3, DynamoDB, and Lambda.
- **Security champion**: Building secure IoT platforms is second nature to you.
- **Communication maestro**: You can clearly explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- **Collaborative spirit**: You thrive in a team environment and enjoy mentoring others.
- **Problem-solving expert**: You can identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot complex platform issues.
- **A hunger to learn**: You're passionate about staying ahead of the curve.
- **Fluent English** is a must.

**Bonus points if you have**:

- A Bachelor's degree in software development or a related field.
- Experience as a data or systems architect.
- A knack for asynchronous platforms.
- An infectious enthusiasm for APIs.
