**#About the role**

A large part of the success of Ironhack depends on the data we have to enable decisions. The Head of Data is a critical role to ensure we have a good quality and accessibility on the data.

As Head of Data you will work with our business areas analyzing the data, validating hypotheses through experimentation, generating insights and providing recommendations, as well as helping and supporting the company on achieving one of their objectives, to become a data driven organization that is efficient and makes better decisions.

**#About the Gig**
- Manage and shape Data & BI roadmap
- Lead the development and implementation of data-driven solutions that deliver actionable insights to drive business growth and customer value.
- Manage the development and maintenance our DWH infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and marketing, to define and deliver data-driven solutions that support business objectives.
- Develop and maintain data models, algorithms, and statistical analyses to inform decision-making and drive business growth.
- Work with engineering teams to design and implement scalable data infrastructure to support data-driven initiatives.
- Identify new opportunities for data-driven solutions and evaluate emerging data science technologies to inform business strategy and drive innovation.
- Communicate complex data science concepts and insights to stakeholders across the organization, including executives and non-technical teams.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of data engineering and data analysts

- 4-5 years leading and developing a Data department in a rapid growth start-up
- Great communication & collaboration skills, including working with the Exec management team and non-technical colleagues
- 6 years hands on experience in Analytics projects, data modeling and performing quantitative analysis
- Strong background in SQL and Python programming
- Experience in working and developing ELT/ETL systems
- Knows different databases; non-relational and relational (PostgreSQL, Mongo & SF as examples)
- Experienced user of data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau or Metabase
- Strong analytical, technical and problem solving skills
- Excellent English skills
- Interest in technology & education
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a motivation to excel in a fast-paced environment
