**About the role of UX/UI Director**:
We are looking for a UX/UI Director to join the team and make a real impact on the business.
You will lead our product’s full redesign and next innovations on web and mobile, putting our users at heart. You will be obsessed with empowering professionals aiming to take their next step in their career in hospitality as well as recruiters aiming to hire the best talent efficiently.
You will lead all aspects of the UX/UI responsibility, from research to analysis and design. You will work closely with our Director of Product, Tech lead and the rest of the leadership team of Hosco. You will create and manage a network of internal and external skilled designers to support you on the delivery of the projects.
You will have experience working in agile teams with developers, and collaborate with stakeholders and product owners. You will be able to make deliberate design decisions and to translate any given user-experience journey into a smooth and intuitive interaction.
This role represents an exciting opportunity to take the lead on a key function of the business, contribute to the company’s exciting growth and future, as well as make a real difference in millions of professional’s careers.
**Some of the specific responsibilities of the role**:
- Drive UX excellence. Create and own the UX vision for the platform/apps, thinking holistically, and producing excellent deliverables (such as IA, User Flows and Journeys, Wireframes, etc.)
- Lead the creation of User Research function and customer journey mapping for all product designs and the product owners to incorporate new findings into the product solutions to benefit the customer engagement
- Create prototypes and hi-fi mockups based on Product and UX definition
- Create efficient and polished visual assets as needed, working together with the Growth marketing team
- Provide UI Interaction Design solutions
- Participate in shaping and maintaining all UX and UI related documentation
- Partner with developers, copywriters, designers, and product owners to ensure creative styles are within technical constraints
- Collaborate closely with developers, copywriters, designers, and product owners to establish consistent pipelines for implementation
- Be a strong advocate for UX and UI Design. Champion the overall development and launch of new experiences to enhance customer journey throughout the site
- Present and defend your design decisions. All your design decisions should be based on the overall product roadmap as well as your own design thinking and fundamental principles.
- Continually keep yourself and your team updated with the latest changes in your industry’s standards.
**Requirements**:
- 7+ years of professional UX and UI experience
- Strong experience in leading user research both for B2C and B2B audiences
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills in English
- Strong portfolio demonstrating great UX and UI skills
- Hands-on experience creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, etc.
- Experience in working with/leading agile teams
- Experience with building a team of UI/UX designers and leading them through complex projects
- Experience using tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD or similar
- Creative ideas with problem solving mindset
- Experience working in an agile development process with stakeholders and making collaborative decisions
- Ability to demonstrate a sense of humbleness on a day-to-day basis and to also be focused on your own professional development
- You are eligible to work in the EU/Barcelona
