**Clinical Trials Budget Unit**

The Commercial and Contracted Clinical Research Directorate (RCCC) is part of the research support

structure of the VHIR that aims to:
1. The accompaniment to clinical research teams, in the course of the search, identification and

management of proposals within the framework of the clinical research of commercial sponsor;
2. Contact with commercial sponsors to detect market opportunities;
3. Contact with meta-actors (Pharmaceutical-Industry, AEMPS, EMA, EU,...) in order to increase the

visibility and positioning of VHUH-VHIR in the clinical research scenario; and

4. The definition, obtaining and structuring of the results and indicators of clinical research activity so

that VHIR General Management or other Units (Technical Secretariat) can transmit information

referring to this activity scenario.***

**Education and qualifications**:
**Required: -**

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Sciences/Economics/Engineering
- Specific/Additional training in project management
- Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, English (business level)

**Experience and knowledge**:
**Required: -**

At least 5 years of experience working in commercial and contracted clinical research projects and activities,
especially clinical trials.
- Knowledge of Clinical Trials Management Systems software (CTMS)
- Ability to negotiate and to deal with customers, sponsors, vendors, and clinical teams
- Leadership, empathy, team building

**Desired: -**

Knowledge of power BI, Quality management

**Main responsibilities and duties: -**

Coordinate/Manage Clinical Trial proposals to ensure economical sustainability of activities and appropriate
revenues for the Hospital and the clinical research teams.
- Give support in/to CCCR operations management Unit to deliver accurate information in the course of clinical
trials (budget, amendments, invoice reconciliation,)
- Collaborate with Legal Affairs and Invoicing Departments to optimize paperwork and collection of commercial
clinical research activities
- Prepare/Organize a team of administrative technical staff to manage all the proposals coming from sponsors
- Analyze indicators (KPI, KQI, KRI) to share with VHIR’s General Management and respective teams
- Keep track of all activity and economic reports, indicators, presentations, database update, and any other

information support documents related with the general activity of the department.

**Labour conditions: -**

Full-time position: 40/week.
