Ensure the execution of the assigned activities together with the assigned team.

Key accountabilities

1. Responsible for leading, developing, motivating and coaching the assigned team members.
2. Prepare weekly planning and allocate activities, ensure timely execution of activities, and solve bottlenecks with stakeholders from R&D Operations, breeding and research
3. Participate in the assigned activities.
4. Analysis of processes, reporting on progress and KPI's and contribution to continuous improvement processes.
5. Responsible for implementation of relevant protocols and procedures to ensure compliance to internal and/or legal (phytosanitary) regulations.
6. Ensure the appropriate resources are available to deliver the agreed objectives and expected timelines, taking into account seasonal fluctuations.
7. Responsible for a healthy and safe working environment.

- Breeders/ Researchers - Internal customer, alignment of expectations and results.
- HR Business Partner - Alignment and exchange on information and progress, obtain advice.
- Agrononist - Alignment and exhange on.

Minimum working and thinking level

Higher professional level (HBO, Bachelor, College)

Required certifications, knowledge and skills

- Educational background in Horticulture
- Awareness of hygiene measures
- Affinity with crop management/administration
- People skills
- Communication skills
- Skilled in using computer, data, tools and equipment
- Proficient in the local and English language, both written and verbal

Working conditions

- Working in quiet or very busy periods
- Routine work
- Physical strain due to lifting boxes, materials, etc.
- Unillateral/strenuous posture
- Working in conditioned climate/high temperatures
- Working outside in different weather conditions
- Knowledge and experience in the field of HSE
