**Delivering the Vision**
This role will take responsibility for drafting and implementing a full category management strategy across key areas of direct spend including raw materials, essential oils and various associated commodities.
Our client is a global FMCG organisation. This will be a full end-to-end procurement role with responsibility for establishing spend analytics and market insights, strategic sourcing, supplier performance including dashboard reporting and vendor management.
These roles will work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, including third-party manufacturing vendors and bespoke suppliers to ensure that optimal pricing, risk, quality and environmental sustainability metrics are achieved.
**Is this You?**
You will be keen to develop your career as a Senior Procurement Category Manager and have a track-record of success achieved whilst working within a collaborative and forward thinking Procurement function.
You will clearly demonstrate a hands-on approach to category management and be able to succinctly articulate your step-by-step process for sourcing strategies and optimising vendor relationships. You will be adept at identifying opportunities to optimise outcomes across your categories of spend to ensure that innovative thinking, fresh ideas and best-in-class procurement practices are implemented.
Experience working with overseas suppliers or within an FMCG / Consumer company, as well as deep understanding of supply risk, product quality and social and environmental procurement matters will be highly desired.
