- Operates the generating assets including the control system and accessories in accordance with the standard operating procedures and in conformance with the environmental and safety standards.
- Monitors and controls all process parameters such that operating variables are within the pre-set limits.
- Executes proper implementation of real time dispatch (RTD), PMS, emergency maintenance schedule and well utilization schedule in coordination with team leadership and operators. Consults with the team leadership for deviation from the pre-determined dispatch schedule and well utilization program.
- Implements on time appropriate routine checks and monitoring of the Power Plant, Switchyard and FCRS components. Reports any noted defects to the team leadership.
- Coordinates efficient operation of ZDS with the Production Operators, pump tenders, ZDS patrol, and maintenance personnel.
- Coordinates, verifies and consolidates the production results to ensure proper operation of generating assets. Consults with team leadership on any verified abnormalities.
- Coordinates and communicates with other departments of the operation of generating assets including switchyard equipment.
- Prepare and submit in a timely manner accurate and comprehensive reports, and other documentations required.
- Implements correct and proper shutdown, start-up, and routine operation of generating assets.
- Formulates procedures and seeks approval from team leadership in the implementation of immediate actions and corrective measures in the event of critical conditions during emergency operations.
