QA Engineer role for those who want to turn ideas into reality using test scripts, automation, and maybe a little magic.

Tasks in the role
- Support and improve existing QA processes.
- Conduct functional testing.
- Maintain existing autotests and create new ones for backend functionality.
- Work closely with other QA/developers: code review, validation, and improvement of project-level tests.
- Support and improve testing infrastructure.
- Take an active part in technical discussions of upcoming tasks and define corner cases.

**Requirements**:
Who we are looking for
- Strong experience in Quality Assurance.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies.
- Experience with implementing data quality assurance practices.
- Experience with bug tracking and version control systems.
- Experience in full accompaniment of QA of product.
- Good experience in Python, pytest.
- Experience with any SQL or NoSQL database.
- Experience with the usage of any CI/CD system.
- Experience with \*nix systems.
- You have experience implementing testing in GitLab CI.
- Have experience with MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
- Have experience with Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform.
- Have experience with Ansible.
- Strong experience with Linux.
- Experience with Splunk, Sentry.
- You are not afraid to give your code to developers for review, and you are not afraid to do code reviews for developers’ code.

A bit about the team

You can get to know the team better at one of the interviews, but some brief information about future colleagues will be useful now.

We are the Force Team, in Semrush we are engaged in a CRM system for our internal users, built based on Salesforce CRM, namely:

- Working with data from the services of other teams and sending enriched data to SF.
- Building business logic and automation on the side of SF itself.

We are looking for a second QA Engineer to join the team. We want to get a full member of the team and share the current QA responsibilities: from building a global testing strategy to writing autotests / performing the role of SDET - checking and improving autotests written by developers in their projects.

Due to the specifics of the product, the current common QA activity is writing autotests for the backend components of the product.

Technologies we use

**\* python**: SQLAlchemy, pandas, Pydantic.

**\* pytest**: Faker, pytest-xdist, pytest-allure.

**\* CI/CD**: gitlab-ci, ansible, docker, GCP
