QA Automation Engineer

Picis Clinical Solutions, a Harris Computer company, is looking for a QA Automation Engineer on a permanent basis to join our dynamic team of smart, positive, and passionate people in Barcelona who are appreciated for their unique talents and empowered to do their jobs well. The post holder can be based in Barcelona or elsewhere in Spain.

In performing the QA Automation Engineer position, as part of the Research and Development team, you will:

- Collaborate with the QA team to create comprehensive test plans and strategies, identifying test scenarios, and determining which tests should be automated.
- Translate manual test cases into automated scripts, ensuring adequate coverage of all functional and non-functional requirements.
- Write automated test scripts to verify software functionality, performance, and reliability, integrating them into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Document and report defects or issues, providing detailed information to assist developers in understanding and resolving problems.
- Regularly update and maintain automated test suites to accommodate changes in software features, ensuring test scripts remain effective and relevant.
- Conduct automated performance testing to assess the system's responsiveness, stability, and scalability under different conditions.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure the quality and efficiency of automated test scripts.
- Create and maintain documentation related to test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts, ensuring clarity for both current and future team members.
- Provide training and support to team members on test automation tools, frameworks, and best practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in QA and test automation to enhance skills and contribute to process improvements.

What we are seeking:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in automated testing.
- Knowledge of.NET, C# and WPF.
- Experience with FlaUI or similar test automation framework.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Git.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
