We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated **Licensing Manager** to join our growing team at MagicBox. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the licensing strategy & initiatives, while building strong licensed partnerships that ensure the successful development, launch, and maximization of products. Your efforts will directly impact the visibility of the Magicbox brands and the expansion of our product portfolio through strategic partnerships.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- ** Licensing & Partnerships**:
- Oversee all licensing agreements for MagicBox, from negotiation to execution, ensuring alignment with our brand goals and target audience.
- Identify and secure new licensing opportunities for our games and toys across various industries (e.g., merchandise, media, food, entertainment).
- Cultivate strong relationships with external partners, including licensors, licensees, distributors, and retailers, to expand MagicBox’s global footprint.
- Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to recommend innovative licensing opportunities and partnerships.
- **Licensing and Partnership Management**:
- Manage the company’s portfolio of licensed properties, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and maximizing business potential.
- Oversee royalty management, ensuring timely and accurate payments and reporting from licensing partners.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key licensing partners, including studios, licensors, and other third parties.
- Coordinate with the Global Marketing team to create comprehensive go-to-market strategies for licensed products, ensuring effective brand integration and promotional efforts.
- Ensure all licensed products meet the company’s quality standards, brand guidelines, and intellectual property (IP) compliance.
- **Partner & Relationship Management**:
- Negotiate licensing agreements, ensuring favorable terms, royalty rates, and product distribution.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all licensing-related inquiries and
- Draft, review, and finalize licensing agreements, ensuring that all terms and conditions are met and that products comply with intellectual property (IP) laws.
- Monitor royalty payments and ensure timely reporting and auditing of revenue from licensing agreements.
- Track and analyze the performance of licensed products, campaigns, and partnerships.
- Adjust strategies and tactics based on insights to optimize brand equity and revenue growth.

**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- **Minimum of 5 years of experience in licensing**, or a related field, ideally within the toys, games, or entertainment industry.
- Proven track record in managing and negotiating licensing agreements and growing brand presence in the marketplace.
- Deep understanding of the children's toy and game market, trends, and consumer behavior.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work across multiple teams and departments.
