Cybersecurity DevSecOps Consultant - 6 Month Contract (Extension Likely) - Remote/ Valencia
Our client, an international IT service provider, is seeking a Cybersecurity DevSecOps Consultant with 2-5 years experience of security and software development to join them as a contractor. For this position, our client offers the option to work fully remote or onsite within the charming region of Valencia. Starting at an initial 6-month contract, multiple extensions are expected and there is great, long-term potential.
Single stage interviews via MS Teams are scheduled for June.
**Cybersecurity DevSecOps Consultant Responsibilities**:
Define and implements the build, deployment and monitoring.
Contribute to the agile development teams to deliver an end-to-end automation of deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management in a cloud environment.
Build and configure delivery environments supporting CD/CI tools.
Create scripts and/or templates to automate and/or bootstrap infrastructure provisioning and management tasks.
Work closely with our development team to create an automated continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) system.
Work both independently and in a collaborative team environment to meet required schedules and timelines.
Possess outstanding skills in communicating complex technical issues and in providing comprehensive written, oral and/or digital.
**Cybersecurity DevSecOps Consultant Requirements**:
3 years’ experience of software development experience or DevOps
2 years’ experience in SDLC security best practice and integrating security tools into the CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with fully automating CI/CD pipelines end-to-end.
Demonstrated background in deploying secure solutions.
Ability to work with APIs and plugins to integrate security tools into established CI/CD pipelines.
