We are looking for a Research Engineer Intern to assist in the development or design of new products and technology and help us improve existing technical processes, machines and systems and create new, innovative technologies.

As a research engineer intern, you will be part of the R+D+i department of Fluendo. The R+D+i team is responsible of the inception of new products, starting form the product idea, following with the initial product conceptualization and finally validating the product idea from a technical and sales perspective. Our goal is to evaluate new product ideas and solve all the unknowns before starting the development of a product, which is done through research projects formed by a cross-functional team.

You will support the team with the execution of research projects, product proposals, researching on state-of-the-art technology, evaluating the technical feasibility of the product and creating product prototypes.

**Responsibilites**
- Support the R+D+i team conceptualize new products from the idea to the prototype
- Collaborate to create pitches for new product ideas
- Help with the validation of the technical feasibility of a product idea
- Write reports summarizing the findings of these validations
- Write technical blog posts showing the results of research projects
- Collaborate with the development of product prototypes
- Assist in writing grant proposals

**Qualifications**
- Be enrolled in a Engineer/ Multimedia/Telecos Bachelors degree
- Excellent English & Spanish communication skills (verbal and written)
- Knowledge of programming languages (C, C++, Python etc..)
- Interested in Machine learning and AI
- Interested in Computer Vision
- Knowledge or interested of the Multimedia stack: frameworks, codecs, protocols
- Proactive and engaged attitude
- Curious and open to change
- Good teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Open to constant training/employee development.
