We recently announced plans to expand in Spain by building a new, state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Moncada, Valencia. When it becomes operational in 2026, the plant will manufacture Edwards' surgical and transcatheter heart valve replacement technologies and will join a global network of more than 16,000 talented team members and five other production plants. Our new facility in Moncada will welcome up to 1,500 dedicated team members by 2029 across manufacturing, engineering, and several other professional career paths. Hiring for professional positions has started and will continue through the winter and early spring, with specialized training for manufacturing hires beginning in the fall of 2025. **The role**: Provide administrative support to assigned department, individual, and/or area. **How you will make an Impact**: - Plan and execute meetings and events with some supervision - Use all computer programs relevant to the position to support development of correspondence, presentations, such as tracking and charting metrics data, and to perform data entry and report generation in support of a department, significant organizational group, or executive level management - Assist in semi-routine and non-routine administrative projects/tasks - Ensure the preparation of information, documents, and logistics for assigned department, significant organizational group, or executive level management - Perform general administrative activities including screening and directing phone calls, filing as well as composing and typing general correspondence under limited direction - Assistance to the company directors with respect to various administrative tasks including: - travel arrangements i.e. flight, car rental, accomodation bookings - processing and preparation of travel expenses - tailoring/finalizing business prezentations - prepare meeting minutes - Manage schedule and calendar of management with attention to accuracy and detail, including keeping Executive informed of calendar changes and change requests - Schedule domestic and international travel in compliance with existing policies and procedures, to optimize use of Executive's time and schedule - Cooperate and support larger corporate events (e.g. conferences, team-buildings, Xmas party together with Office Supervisor) - Provide event management support for HR department (e.g. social team events, charity occasions, volunteer initiatives) - Liaise via telephone and in person, establishing and maintaining relationships with external suppliers relevant to events such as hotels, restaurants, event agencies, entertainment providers and other participating parties **What you will need**: - H.S. Diploma or equivalent & 6 years of directly related experience **What else we look for**: - Extensive knowledge and understanding of Edwards policies, procedures, and administrative requirements - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including negotiating and relationship management skills - Advanced problem-solving skills - Ability to manage complex travel arrangements, in keeping with overall time commitments and in support of optimizing time management - Completes tasks in resourceful and effective ways - Ability to manage internal and external confidential information with utmost discretion - Works autonomously within established procedures and practices - Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across the organization to influence and achieve objectives - Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic work environment - Strict attention to detail - Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and good manners - Pro-active attitude, an enthusiastic, driven, "can-do" attitude rather than waiting for things to happen - Highly organized, accurate, consistent and dedicated to performing the internal/external client experience - Detailed oriented with seamless service standards - Able and willing to work effectively in a team as well as on its own - Works well under pressure - Contacts are across the organization and at all organizational levels, including external contacts that may be at high levels - Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control **What is it like to
