**ROTATING EQUIPMENT INSPECTOR**

**Location**:Florencia, Italia

**Studies**:

- Mechanical Engineer preferred
- Others Engineers if they have proven experience in Rotating Equipment Inspector
**Functions**:
QC Mechanical Inspector will be responsible for Inspection of craft work or work by others for adherence to the owner’s specifications and governing codes or manufacturer’s requirements for rotating equipment and components used in the construction industry to ensure the equipment and/or equipment components are in good repair and meet construction project requirements.
- Must read and interpret engineered drawings and manufacturer manuals.
- Knowledge of API Recommended Practice for Machinery Installation and Installation guides.
- Document inspection activities on the correct forms, checklists, or other media approved by the project’s ITP or SOP.
- Manage the progress of contracts and projects.
- Interface with clients.
- Write specifications, study notes, hypotheses and methodology.
- Study and analysis of systems (low voltage, medium voltage and high voltage)..
- Define and control validation and qualification protocols.
- Define and follow tests.
- Check electrical design documents.
- Perform calculations and verify compliance with codes and requirements.
- Write calculation notes.
- Write technical and commercial offers.
**Required Qualifications - Essential Skills, Knowledge, And Abilities**
- Previous inspection experience within the oil and gas industry
- Must have good aptitude and manual dexterity
- Good reading comprehension
- Ability to work with others - team player
- Good communication skills with co-workers and supervisors
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Package. Familiar with other computer packages (e.g. MS Project, Outlook, Bluebeam, etc.)
- Have the ability to read and interpret documents, blueprints, codes and specifications.
**Experience**:

- At least 3 years rotatin equipment Inspection experience in Oil & Gas.
**Knowledge**:

- API valid
**Language level**:

- Fluent in English
- Fluent in Italian (desired)
**Salary**:

- Salary freelance rate
**Type of contract**:

- 12 months freelance contract

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

**Salary**: 200.00€ - 300.00€ per day
