The role:
The Network and Communication Engineer is part of the Operation Technology (OT) team, they ensure accuracy of project operational data and infrastructures monitoring. The Network and Communication Engineer designs, assesses, manages and delivers networking & communication projects for the Operations Team.
They Network and Communication Engineer provides networking and communication assessment; performs assessments relating to vulnerability, alerts and incidents and direct risk mitigation work; supports the development and improvements of Sonnedix's IT global regulatory framework and guidelines in industrial networks and communication regarding OT cybersecurity; manages a plan for dissemination, training and awareness of cybersecurity in the operation team; participates in the change and innovation management processes, providing practical cybersecurity improvements.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in the implementation of projects for the connectivity of assets in remote locations and in telecommunications / Networking technologies
- Knowledge of automation technologies (SCADA) and the interface between Operation Technologies (OT) and Information Technologies (IT)
- Familiar with communication protocols, services and technologies in industrial environments, Industrial IoT, Industry 4.0 and network technologies
- Demonstrable competencies in risk management, incidents and/or operational continuity,
- Business English
