Company Description

The Senior FP&A Manager - Central Functions will provide full finance business partner support to the senior stakeholders in the HQ functions, focused on managing the full pipeline of all project and programme spend (CAPEX and OPEX) across the functions. They will provide support and challenge to the functions to ensure key operational, commercial and financial targets are achieved in line with Adevinta’s wider commercial strategy, supporting and influencing decisions that maximise value.

Coordinate the planning, budgeting and forecasting (incl. consolidation of regional inputs) and periodic business review processes for the global organisation, managing the preparation and review of budgets and forecasts in line with the annual FP&A activity calendar
Responsible for plans, budgets, forecasts (covering CAPEX and OPEX elements) for the HQ functions (Central Finance, P&C, Legal, COEs), ensuring there is sufficient alignment with other business areas
Bring a finance perspective to investment proposals / business cases developed across the business that require HQ support. Critically evaluate all such proposals and perform full financial assessment on costs/benefits to assist decision-making
Support the workforce planning process and work with the Talent Acquisition team to anticipate and meet resourcing needs in accordance with the Adevinta Avenues framework
Ability to understand performance variances in monthly and quarterly results and communicate to senior stakeholders, identifying corrective measures if required
Provide continuous performance evaluation, business support and constructive challenge to business management to drive the achievement of the company’s short, medium and long-term strategic objectives
Identify and drive cost optimisation opportunities for the HQ functions, agreeing short, medium & long term forecasts/plans
Identify, track and support cost reduction initiatives and work with colleagues from all HQ functions to identify and achieve synergies
