The role designed for you
In your role as Systems & Network reporting directly to the IT Group Network & Systems Manager and based in Spain:
- You'll be responsible for designing, installing, configuring, and monitoring the corporate IT server and network infrastructure, cloud and/or on-premise, respecting and promoting the IT security principles- You will provide support to both end users and colleagues in the Information Technology area for diagnostic purposes- Also, understand complex technical issues and manage them within a fast-paced business environment- Your responsibilities include also identifying and implementing solutions to problems and malfunctions that may occur- You will be the one to propose and implement new technological solutions for the maintenance of the IT infrastructure in perfect efficiency in line with the needs of the business and the evolution of the company- Collaborate with external suppliers on specific projects or in support and maintenance cases for which external intervention is required- For sure you will have to cooperate cross-functionally on specific transformation projects that require server and network capability- And, support the monitoring and the management of infrastructure incidents, finding the best solution for any specific context and user request
The attitudes and skills we’re looking for- If you have a degree STEM related, It would be considered a plus- You need a good understanding in cyber security principles and remediations- You need good knowledge of O365- Solid understanding of:
- Windows operating systems (client/server)
- Vmware
- Backup/restore infrastructure
- Network infrastructure (firewall, switch, access point, router)- If you have some knowledge of cloud infrastructure (MS Azure), it is a plus- Also, professional certifications (Microsoft and/or Networking) would be considered a plus- You enjoy having sharp troubleshooting skills- What you definitely need is excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to go beyond “tech talk”, to translate complex IT matters to those without an IT background- You are able to manage multiple tasks, with strong time management and organizational skills- You have a proactive and autonomous approach together with a clear ability to cooperate with others, understanding the needs of internal clients- You are willing to travel across Group locations (Spain and abroad), during around 15-20% of the working days- Spanish and English fluency
