**Job Description**:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Director of Product Design to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of customer interactions and experience across our entire suite of products. You will be responsible for defining and implementing an overarching UX strategy that aligns with our company’s goals and vision. As a key leader in our organization, you will have a broad strategic impact, influencing not just product development but also overall business strategy.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Define and execute a comprehensive UX/design strategy aligned with company goals and vision
- Lead innovation by analyzing, identifying, and proposing solutions to enhance customer experience
- Ensure that all product development is grounded in customer needs and informed by customer evidence
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate UX best practices into every stage of the product lifecycle
- Leverage user research, usability studies, and analytics to continually refine and enhance user experience
- Create and implement scalable design processes, tools, and systems to support rapid growth
- Stay up-to-date on UX trends, tools, and technologies to drive innovation in design practices
- Foster a culture of design craft, continuous improvement, and innovation within the team
- Hire, coach, and develop a high performing team of designers and UX writers
- Collaborate with leaders and stakeholders across the organization to align UX initiatives with business objectives and drive product success

**Requirements**:

- Product/UX design experience with increasing scope and complexity
- Experience with a diverse suite of digital products, including consumer and SaaS/B2B
- Strong customer focus and ability to work back from customer needs
- Proficiency in design tools and methodologies
- Excellent communication skills, particularly using the language of design to inspire, align, and deliver impact
- Experience setting up and scaling agile product development processes
- Comfortable with data and using it to make informed decisions
- Strong leadership skills and track record of building high-performing teams
- Ability to think strategically and also get hands-on with design details
- Comfortable working collaboratively with stakeholders across different domains and functions
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and proactively plan ahead
