**Education and qualifications**:
**Required**:

- PhD in Biotechnology.

**Experience and knowledge**:
**Required**:

- A minimum of 10 years of experience in postdoctoral research
- Biotechnological processes for the production of high-added value biotherapeutics.
- Characterization of nanoscale materials.
- Strong profile in molecular biology.
- Cancer pre-clinical models.
- Imaging of biological samples.
- Good publication records, including at least 3 articles as last/corresponding author.
- Capacity to lead research teams.
- Capacity to attract competitive national and international funds.

**Desired**:

- Good writing and communication skills
- Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, English (C2 level)
- Good computer skills, basic knowledge in bioinformatic and statistical analysis
- Background in cancer research
- We are looking for a person who has a proven hands-on attitude, flexible and adaptable. Additionally, the following personals skills are desirable:

- Teamwork
- Proactivity (ability to work independently when necessary)
- Well-organized and responsible person at work

**Main responsibilities and duties**:
**Labour conditions**:

- Full-time position (40 h/week).
- Incorporation: Immediate
- Length of the contract: Up to the end of the project.
- Gross annual salary: 41.000 €. The salary will be commensurate according to experience and qualifications in accordance with the Collective Agreement play scale at VHIR’s.
- Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities.
