About #ICAP:
ICAP, part of TP ICAP group, provides a wide variety of execution and information services to wholesale market participants.
We offer broking services covering a wide range of asset classes, including Commodities, Credit, Equities, FX, Money Market Funds and Rates.
For each asset class, ICAP offers e-trading capability, giving clients the option to enter prices and execute trades directly via one of our hybrid electronic trading systems, or to engage with brokers who can identify and negotiate trades.
Role Responsibilities:
- Promote TP ICAP.- Ensure timely input of trades into trading systems.- Assistance in the administration of auctions.- Resolve any trade queries received internally and externally, and ensure any trade discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.- Identify trade opportunities and calculate strategies.- Keep trade records up to date.- Update real-time manual / electronic whiteboards with market data.- Provide input on various projects for brokers and traders.- Provide trade details to brokers and traders on a daily basis.- Monitor markets and follow financial news and developments.
Experience / Competences:- Direct trading / broking experience is preferred.- Understanding by way of education / experience in energy sector and markets, ideally in power or gas.- Ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders outside of the immediate desk environment.- Understands the markets and has a viewpoint on economy.- Hard working with willingness to learn and self-study.- Handles situations and problems effectively using own initiate.- Build relationships and networks with both internally and externally wherever possible.- Demonstrates ability to work effectively with others.- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment, can keep emotions under control in difficult situations.- Works ethically and shows respect for both professional and company values.- Demonstrates high levels of energy in seeking out and achieving new goals
