deliver a **broad portfolio of consulting services2** spanning
all stages of the innovation lifecycle, from mobilizing
resources to develop (collaborative) R&D activities and
projects, to managing and supporting the
commercialization of innovative products.

The position
We currently have a vacancy for a junior consultant (1
- 2 years of experience) to join our teams working on
advanced materials and circularity teams. You will be
based at our headquarters in Barcelona, working
alongside other team members and taking
responsibility for the delivery and management of
consultancy engagements. In this role, you will work on
a variety of projects related to advanced materials and
circularity for a variety of sectors, including strategy
development, project development, and management.

As a junior consultant, you will be working in teams on
client-facing assignments involving R&D project
management and development, innovation
collaborations, creation of new Open Innovation
initiatives, and provision of support for clients’ business
development activities.

We expect you to participate in at least three or four
different assignments that may cover substantially
different technological fields. We do not formally
require you have a strong background in particular
fields, but we expect that you will work to the utmost
of your ability to quickly adapt and learn about them.

Your activities will include working closely with one or
two other B&C consultants, as well as with clients and

other parties that B&C collaborates within its
assignments.

You will perform your activities from our **headquarters**
**office in Barcelona.**

- Background and profile: an MSc in engineering or

sciences is required. We look for profiles who are
genuinely interested in advanced materials and
related technologies. An interest in the mix between
business and technology would be a plus, ideally
with additional education in business and innovation
management.
- Languages: truly fluent English, both written and

oral, is essential (almost all of our assignments are
performed in English). Additionally, we value fluency
in our clients native languages such as Spanish,
Dutch, German, and French.
- Communication and presentation skills: You must

enjoy creating persuasive arguments and be able to
easily translate complex technical concepts into
clear and convincing business language. You should
be able to present information to clients clearly and
effectively.
- Writing skills: good writing skills are essential; we

need you to enjoy writing and be good at creating
convincing argumentations, easily translating
complex technical concepts into clear and
compelling business language.
- Soft skills: we expect a great deal of autonomy and

pro-activity, being able to communicate
professionally with partners and clients, managing
and leading discussions and public presentations.
- Applicants must have a valid EU working permit.
