**IT Support Associate**

The selected person will join the research laboratory of the Genética por la Vida Foundation-INCLIVA directed by Prof. Carlos Simón, made up of 22 scientific professionals with 5 main lines of research framed in the field of women's health.

Qualifications*
- Be the HelpDesk point-person, providing excellent and expedient service to our employees.
- Ensure end user support is timely and effective at all levels
- Communicate technical operations to end users, notify of outages or issues and provide effective turnaround time
- Manage, update, install and resolve issues in all office 365 site and active directory.
- Handle and prioritize systems management and the technologies that make up the systems architecture
- Maintain and expand knowledge of Microsoft environment or AWS Amazon, both physical platform and Cloud platform.
- Follow-up and monitor current systems and management of the alarms and incidents that occur.
- Be responsible for implementing backup policies, disaster recovery plan, security and contingency plans to ensure the continuity of information systems in the event of disaster.
- Support office relocations, handle all networking, routers, switches, etc., as needed.
- Manage and give support to external provider with OS Linux Based.
**Requirements**:

- Intermediate or higher degree in Computer Science, IT, or related like Bioinformatician.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in users support.
- Additional IT training, certification preferred and ID Microsoft certifications/Microsoft Learning Transcript
- Demonstrable knowledge in Microsoft Active Directory, Office 365, Linux, Microsoft Azure or AWS environments.
- Ability to manage expectations, provide service in a calm and courteous disposition
- Fast response to multiple, competing priorities with excellent service protocols
- Proactive communication, self-driven and independent
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Highly organized, critical thinker, and detail-orientated with a fantastic attitude.
- Ability to document all the process and procedures.
