You will lead a team of SREs located across the world in different time zones that supports our large scale infrastructure with 20 brands across +40 countries. We expect that you will be both a mentor and team leader for your engineers. This means that you will help with technical decisions, coach the careers of the SREs reporting to you, and partner with stakeholders. On a typical day, you can expect to coach engineers to level up their technical and soft skills, to plan and scope future projects, and to help fix a small bug or guide a new feature development.

**What responsibilities will you get when working with us**:
- Lead according to our cultural core values, establishing a role model to follow and take examples from.
- Take full ownership of services reliability, availability and efficiency, working closely with key stakeholders as Engineering, Security and Product
- Advocate sensible, scalable, systems design and share responsibility within the organization in diagnosing, resolving, and preventing production issues through mechanisms like automation;
- Continuously improve the way teams think about observability and systems reliability;
- Reduce toil by constant automation;
- Take Operational responsibility for the Services that we own, including taking part in an On-Call rotation, practice sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems;
- Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of Services—from inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement
**What will you need to be successful**:
- Spanish and English language proficiency;
- You are used to working in teams located in different countries and time zones;
- Management seniority in areas such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution;
- You are able to code with one or more modern programming languages: Python, Go or any other functional or object oriented language with some credibility and feasibility for distributed systems on a cloud ecosystem;
- You had your hands dirty with designing, scaling and troubleshooting large-scale cloud based architectures, ideally based on a microservices or event driven pattern;
- Great communication skills and looking forward to working in a diverse and international environment;
- Experience managing an engineering team on projects with technical dives into code, networking, operating systems and cloud environments;
- Solid engineering background in Cloud Native practices
