The solutions infrastructure architect demonstrates outstanding functional leadership, a strong commitment to innovation and a passion for driving the business technology horizon forward. Key focus areas will be: - Automation and integration - Rapid deployment of O365 technologies - Audit, reporting and analytics - CMDB and data management **Key Duties and Responsibilities** - Leads strategy, best practices and architecture in the design, development and deployment of scalable and secure Microsoft solutions - Management of stakeholders, setting expectations on delivery and scope - Leads the implementation and execution of technology deployments in a DevOps environment - Manages the technology pipeline, aligning priorities and schedules with business expectations, resources and dependencies - Leads the integration and automation architecture for Ansys IT internal systems - Works with peers and SMEs to create complete solutions designs - Develops and communicates task level detail for project plans - Develops architectural standards, blueprints, building blocks and patterns - Prepares budgetary recommendations as needed - Provides leadership and guidance to staff, fostering an environment that encourages employee participation, teamwork, and communication. - Owns components of the technical relationship between Ansys and Microsoft, communicating changes in Microsoft product roadmaps, best practice and deployment patterns within Ansys **Minimum Education / Certification Requirements and Experience** - Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, management disciplines, or related field - 8+ years of systems design experience - 10+ years of experience in technical roles; working with service based solutions, designing and working with enterprise implementations - Experience of integration and automation initiatives orchestrated around CMDB platforms, e.g. ServiceNow - Software development experience, especially within a DevOps/Agile environment - Hands-on design and implementation planning for Microsoft solutions including integration, security, governance and compliance solutions in Azure and Office 365 - Experience deploying and managing security technologies and conformance with regulatory and statutory frameworks - Adapt and learn quickly; keeping pace with the rapid changes in the IT industry particularly in productivity, collaboration, and cloud - Proven problem analysis and critical thinking skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills - Experience of creating high quality documentation and solution architecture artefacts **CULTURE AND VALUES** Culture and values are incredibly important to Ansys.
