As **Test Analyst**, you will Ensures the software is verified and validated against the criteria set out in the functional and non
- functional specifications, by defining test cases and ensuring their execution.
Reporting to the Senior Manager Test, you will be a part of the (E&T team) responsible for software testing for customer projects across different SITA Portfolios.

**What You Will Do**
- Produces test scripts, materials and regression test packs to test new and amended software or services.
- Specifies requirements for environment, data, resources and tools. Interprets, executes and documents complex test scripts using agreed methods and standards.
- Provides detailed analysis of all testing carried out on the environment ensuring all bugs, risks and issues are logged correctly.
- Actively provides feedback to senior QA management which may result in new working practices or general QA improvements.
- Mentors, coaches and coordinates a small group of less experienced QA Analysts ensuring they have the skills and knowledge in order to perform their roles.
- Creates high level test scenarios.
- Executes test scenarios.
- Records and analyses actions and results and maintains a defect register.
- Reviews test results and modifies tests if necessary.
- Reports on progress to stakeholders.
- Ensures the software is verified and validated against the criteria set out in the functional and non-functional specifications, by defining test cases, ensuring their execution, and capturing the results.
- Measures the quality across key quality characteristics to enable project stakeholders to have valuable information needed to make critical project decisions.
- Provides highly valued input by acting as an advocate for the customer and end users.
- Helps to protect SITA’s industry reputation in the context of quality.
- Involves transitioning from primarily manual testing to improved test automation coverage to support a DevOps approach that is intended to include, in the long term, Continuous Testing, in a Continuous Build/Deployment/Integration environment. This translates to needing a Test Analyst with solid manual testing skills, and a desire to develop or improve test automation skills.

**Qualifications**:
**Who You Are**
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Software Development or Testing environment including experience with current software testing methodologies, functional testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Strong Foundation in Networking Concepts
- Excellent Troubleshooting skills
- Understanding of Microsoft Server and Windows Operating Systems a plus
- Familiar with SQL Management Studio and formulating queries
- Demonstrate effective communication processes
- Working closely with the Stakeholders for ‘Requirement specifications’
- Ensure that knowledge is kept up-to-date with all relevant updates/releases to products under test.
- Strong knowledge of black box testing skills.
- Should be familiar with white box testing skills.
- Knowledge of min. 2 programming/scripting languages desirable.
- Familiar with Test Automation.
- A tester who knows how and when to use programming skills to solve complex testing problems.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills meeting demands of the key project stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze requirements for quality characteristics such as completeness and testability.
- Use of appropriate tools for change control, risks, and issues.
- Provide focused, accurate and exact analysis.
- Principles of Agile.
- University degree or equivalent preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or similar.
- ISTQB Foundation qualification or recognized country-specific qualification desirable.
