In this role, a typical day will include:
- Shapes the medical digital communication strategy and its execution for all regions based on the global medical affairs strategy.- Utilizes innovation to solve problems across many countries.- Develops and implements strategies to enable business goals using digital communication platforms.- Is responsible for operational objectives and long-term planning.- Influences internal and/or external key stakeholders to achieve medical / scientific digital communication objectives aligned with business objectives.- Leads content development through agency or in-house covering all three franchises: surgical, vision care and pharma; ensures all materials undergo the appropriate medical content approval process.- High competency with digital communication platforms and associated content including websites and social media.- High competency with effective communications.- Drive metrics and reporting to inform medical affairs stakeholders of communication operations.- Cross-functional collaboration.- Development and delivery of effective presentation to stakeholders.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience- Language: The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English- Minimum years of relevant experience: 5 years of relevant experience in the Digital Marketing field.- Experience in planning and leading execution of communication projects, preferably in a medical or biotechnology field
