to support our clients by leveraging deep content
knowledge and specific sector networks. Within those
focus areas, we deliver a **broad portfolio of consulting**
**services** spanning all stages of the innovation cycle, from
mobilizing resources to develop (collaborative) R&D
activities, to supporting the widespread adoption of
innovative solutions and maximizing their impact.
The position
internship position in our Creative Industries innovation
practice. We are looking for people who are close to
graduation, ideally for whom an internship forms part of
their studies.
As an intern, you will be supporting Bax & Company
consultants with client-facing assignments involving
workshop facilitation, project concept development and
visualization, innovation collaborations, creation of new
Open Innovation initiatives, and provision of support for
clients’ policy supporting activities.
Your role will be focused on delivering tangible value for
our clients. We do not formally require you have a strong
background in particular fields, but we expect that you
will work hard to quickly adapt and learn on the job.
Your activities will include working closely with one or
two other Bax & Company consultants, as well as with
clients and other parties that Bax & Company
collaborates within its assignments.
You can expect to be involved in deep strategy and
program development with a multitude of stakeholders
under time pressure - you will learn a lot in a short time.
This job is based in our **Barcelona office**. However, as we
have intense assignments in this practice serving Dutch,
Flemish, and German clients, **travel for short work**
**periods is to be expected.**

- Background and profile: currently enrolled in an
MSc in Design or other Creative Industries
education. We are looking for profiles reflecting
**specific interest in the mix** between
creativity/innovation

ideally with tangible courses followed in business
and/or innovation management.
- Languages: truly fluent English, both written and
oral, is essential (almost all our assignments are
performed in English). Additionally, we value
fluency in our client’s native languages, particularly
Dutch or German.
- Writing skills: good writing skills are essential; we
need you to enjoy and be good at creating
convincing arguments, and easily translating
complex technical concepts into clear and
compelling business language.
- Soft skills: we expect a great deal of autonomy and
proactivity, being able to communicate
professionally with partners and clients, managing
and leading discussions and public presentations.
