About The Company
Mind the Bridge is a global innovation advisory firm that empowers economies through entrepreneurship and innovation. Headquartered in Silicon Valley with offices in Barcelona, Seoul, Tel Aviv, New York and Milan, it has been working as an international bridge at the intersection of startups and corporates since 2007.

Mind the Bridge scouts, filters, and works with 10,000+ startups every year, supporting global corporations with open innovation initiatives that translate into curated deals with startups (PoCs, procurement, investments and/or acquisitions). The company also provides advisory services and benchmarking on innovation strategies and structures, and has developed MTB Ecosystem, an AI-powered open innovation matching platform for corporates and ecosystem hubs.

About The Role
As part of the Innovation Advisory team in Barcelona, you will support the analysis and benchmarking of corporate open innovation activities with a specific focus on technology, engineering and sustainability-driven sectors (energy transition, industry 4.0, deep tech, etc.).

You will learn how global corporations manage innovation and collaborate with startups under different models such as Venture Client, PoCs/Tech Pilots, Corporate Venture Capital, M&A, and Venture Building.

This internship is an excellent opportunity to dive into the world of innovation strategy and open innovation, strongly focused on emerging technologies, within a global advisory firm.

You Are a Fit If
You have:

  • Knowledge of Open Innovation & Innovation Strategy concepts;
  • Educational background in STEM, Engineering, Energy/Sustainability, or related technical fields;
  • Strong interest in innovation ecosystem, startups, and technology trends;
  • Ability to analyze technical solutions and translate them into business value;
  • Ability to process and summarize complex information efficiently;
  • Comfortable producing clear presentations and reports;
  • Availability for a 6-month internship starting mid-January.
