**DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB**

We are seeking an **Assistant General Manager H/F** to join our dynamic team at Montesol Experimental. Your duties and responsibilities will be the following:

- 1. Operational supervision_

- Work closely and assist the General Manager in day-to-day operations.
- Delegate and assign duties to Managers and monitor performance to ensure adherence to group policies, standards and established operating procedures.
- Insure coordination between each hotel department
- Cover shifts in all departments if needed as scheduled by the General Manager.
- 2. Customer experience_

- Accountable for customer experience, ensuring amazing customer service is being always delivered.
- Assist the GM with dealing with customer’s complaints.
- 3. HR supervision_

- Responsible for conducting in-house training to employees and Managers in the hotel or a regular basis.
- Help communicate and coordinate all HR and operational needs
- Ensure health and safety legislation is being met
- 4. Reporting_

- Responsible for monitoring maintenance progress and FF&E (Furniture, Furnishings, and Equipment) conditions and provide status report to GM.
- Assist with cost control measures
- Assist General Manager with overall financial budget & P&L responsibility.

Overall, your ability to help create a culture of team engagement and service excellence will be key to this role along with your aspiration to grow the business.

**PROFIL**

You will have extensive experience in people management, customer service and a full understanding of day-to-day operations:

- Leading by example, decision making
- Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate across of levels
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and PMS (Oracle, Opera, Micros)
- Have a knowledge of business management principles and practices
- Attention to details and customer needs
- Have a Hospitality degree or any equivalence
- Fluent level of Spanish & English
- Speaking French would be a plus
- Previous management position in Ibiza would be a plus
