Our client is a worldwide leader of development breakthrough therapies and innovative healthcare solutions in areas of unmet medical need for both humans and animals.
We are looking for a Senior Splunk Engineer who will be joining us in the endeavor of evolving our Splunk environment to the next level. You will be working in a global team of agile and experienced colleagues defining and implementing the future of our Splunk setup. Through your accountability for enabling SIEM and AIOps use cases you will have the opportunity to get in touch with various user communities in our IT and beyond, and your main dutties will be:
Tasks and responsibilities
- Managing the complete system lifecycle of a large-scale, high-availability Splunk and Splunk Enterprise Security infrastructure.
- Collaborating closely with other IT colleagues on a day-to-day basis for enabling, implementing, and running Splunk and Splunk Enterprise Security use-cases.
- Managing existing and developing inhouse Splunk-Apps, including onboarding of new data sources and dashboard creation
**Requisitos**:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in system administration of Splunk or Splunk Enterprise Security.
Solid Python and Bash scripting skills.
Sound knowledge of Linux system administration.
Experience in the life science industry is a plus.
Experience with Ansible configuration management is a plus.
Strong motivation to work in an agile operating model.
Excellent spoken and written English.
Experience working in a virtual, international and multicultural environment and availability to travel.
Excellent communications skills, team collaboration with an international user community, thinking out-of-the-box with innovative ideas and learning culture
