**Job Purpose**

The rol will be special assignment to help Vueling to introduce the new fleet tipe..

The role will be focused on monitoring the aircraft technical status, AOG (aircraft-on-ground) recovery, keeping deferred defects within company KPIs, minimize technical impact and disruptions in the operation. Will also provide immediate real time expert advice to the teams and manage relevant decisions to ensure a robust and safe operation.

The role is the focal point for the relevant technical decisions on a day-to-day basis. Reports to the MOC manager, and ultimately to the Technical Director.

**Main Accountabilities**
- To provide immediate real time expert advice and guidance throughout the shift to the MOC teams.
- Manage MOC duty engineer’s precise and on time communication regarding all technical-related events with OCC (Operations Control Center) to assure the best results into the day to day operation.
- Monitor the fleet status and ensure plans are in place to rectify issues within the allowed time limit.
- Pursue opened deferred items in Trouble shooting, liaised with flight crews & maintenance suppliers, in order to understand and advise on technical arising's.
- Review technical impact in the operation, and provide information of the relevant issues such as delays, technical cancellations or operational events. Ensure delay coding and reporting (mainly AOG and Fleet Status) is accurate.
- Lead the morning VY maintenance meeting and have daily contact with MRO providers.

**Education**
- EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) A320 PART-66 CAT-B1 or CAT-B2 or Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering Degree.

**Experience**
- 5 years of relevant work experience in aviation, preferably in maintenance control or line maintenance.

- Highly motivated, self-starter with strong business acumen and negotiation skills.
- Superior organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Timetable flexibility and availability.
- Strong communication skills and ability to read, write & fluently speak both Spanish & English languages.
- Advanced knowledge of Office AMOS & AIMS.(other)
- Aircraft technical knowledge.
- Clean criminal records.
