Huspy is an early-stage proptech startup on a mission to simplify the home buying experience and redefine the traditional real estate industry for the whole ecosystem. We understand the huge impact that clear and considered content will have on the success of our business. And for that, we need Copywriters

Our content challenge is to take a fundamentally complex and bureaucratic process and turn it into a simple, accessible, and enjoyable journey. And our content mission is to make Huspy synonymous with clear, helpful, caring, and trustworthy information about the home buying process, empowering the whole ecosystem to make good decisions for their future.

As **the first and only Copywriter in our Madrid office** your part in our mission will be to understand the needs of our partners and customers and to write and iterate on attention-grabbing copy that will help them better understand what's next in the proptech landscape, and unlock the value of Huspy's products and services.

Your leaders and peers understand the importance of quality content, so you'll have full support to create bold solutions that lead the way for our communication practice.

**Responsibilities**
- Establish the voice and tone of our Spanish marketing campaigns, in collaboration with design, strategy, and insights.
- Craft a wide range of content deliverables including marketing materials, landing pages, transactional comms, blogs, and social media posts
- Transform complex banking, finance, and transactional jargon into simple, accessible language.
- Collaborate effectively with designers, content strategists, growth marketers, product managers, researchers, and business stakeholders
- Work with other marketing and growth stakeholders on distribution strategies to ensure your content reaches the right people
- Use data and customer research to identify insights and build compelling content strategies and multi-channel communication plans
- Present ideas and concepts to agencies, internal partners and leadership, and others
- Prioritize projects for impact in a high-growth, high-speed environment

We know the scope is broad, but we're still a startup, and looking for people who are brave enough to lead, shape, and scale the way things are done moving forward.

**Requirements**:

- Strong creative writing skills, with a talent for distilling complex ideas into plain language. Whether writing for a social banner ad or the next award-winning TV spot, you work hard to make every word matter—even under a tight deadline.
- Native Spanish and fluency in English
- Demonstrated ability to ideate and execute upon high impact copy that resonate with a specific target audience throughout the marketing, social, product, and transactional funnel, threading a consistent message through multiple touch points
- Curiosity to look for better ways of doing things, learn something new, and experiment with unconventional ideas
- Be passionate about transforming complex banking, real estate, finance, and transactional jargon into simple, accessible, engaging content that people can rally behind
- Extremely organized, responsive, responsible, and accountable. You're the go-to person for copy, you're enthusiastic about helping, and you always find a way to make things happen
- Experience in one, a few, or all of the following is a bonus: content strategy, UX writing, product copywriting, product marketing, content marketing, social media, community marketing, journalism, technical writing, UX design, UX research
