At BASQUEVOLT our mission is to develop sustainably the best battery materials and cells that will make possible the mass deployment of electric transportation, stationary energy storage and advanced portable devices. Our proprietary solid-state battery technology will allow us to develop and commercialise safe, high performance and affordable products for a diverse portfolio of customers, from mobility, stationary energy storage and consumer electronics. To this end, we offer the position of **Buyer** **MAIN FUNCTIONS** The **Buyer** **will join the Purchasing team reporting to the Head of Purchasing and giving support on: - To lead RFQ, analyse and evaluate suppliers offers, negociate the terms & conditions and propose best Quality/Cost/Timing option compatible with project budget/planning. - To develop sustainable, win-win relations with suppliers, securing purchasing operations with transparence and trust. - To continuously monitor selecrted suppliers, reacting to deviations and supporting panel management. - RFQ **Materials** for working on the scale up of the project and massive production. - Search and evaluate different suppliers with the focus put on a massive production scenario. **WHAT WE OFFER** We are offering a permanent position as **Buyer** that will give you a unique opportunity to work alongside some of the most talented leaders in the lithium battery sector in Europe. Applicants should have a high degree of initiative, flexibility and should be open to intense interdisciplinary collaboration, first in an early-stage start-up but moving progressively to an efficient mid-size organisation. Specifically, we will assess expertise in the following aspects: - Technical / Superior Engineering Degree - 5 years of experiences as buyer in the industrial sector at worldwide level. Knowledge of Supply chain and experience working on Asian markets is a plus. - Financial / Cost control training is a plus - English mandatory, Spanish, French or German a plus. - MS Excel and SAP expertise. - Good empathy and negotiation skills. Problem solving and strategic thinking mindset to grow with and inside the company.
