International V-label Quality Manager

**Summary of the role**

V-Label is looking for a committed person to support our international licensors and partners. The role involves supporting and advising countries on day-to-day quality management issues. In addition to the supporting role, the employee will work on the continuous optimisation of QM processes, the creation of new guidelines or revision of already existing manuals. The jobholder plays an active role in the control and development of the international quality management.

**Job details**:

- Employer: V-Label GmbH
- Location: Spain remote
- Working hours: 40 h per week

**Responsibilities**:

- Development of international inspection concepts (food, cosmetics, non-food and gastronomy)
- Risk management
- Induction of new local V-Label licensing bodies
- Answering questions from local V-Label licensing bodies on the V-Label licensing process, on the vegan and vegetarian status of products and on how to deal with cross-contamination (of animal substances)
- Maintenance of internal manuals, knowledge database and contact lists, etc.
- Research on production technologies, competitors and food law issues
- Contact person for external inspection bodies
- Communicating with our local partners and gathering information
- Improvement of internal structures and communication
- Administration of the internal instant messenger and the cloud
- Depending on qualifications and interests, implementation of own projects to improve the quality and efficiency of the V-Label certification process
**Competences**
**Required**:

- Or alternatively to studies: A comparable education with professional experience in the field of quality management or certification of food, gastronomy, cosmetics or non-food
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for the vegan status of consumer goods
- A good command of written and spoken English (C1)
- Ability to work independently and an eye for detail
- Enthusiasm for developing QM guidelines
- Good communication skills and intercultural competence
- Organisational skills, reliability and proactive search for solutions
- A positive, respectful and enthusiastic work attitude
- Team player and enjoy working in a home office

- Experience in customer service
- Experience in writing work instructions, maintaining documents and developing processes

The non-profit V-Label is the world's leading, as well as the only internationally distributed, vegan and vegetarian label, represented in over 30 countries and awarded by local organisations abroad (such as ProVeg, Vegane Gesellschaft Österreich and SwissVeg).

V-Label GmbH, as the owner of the trademark rights, coordinates the international cooperation on the V-Label. The majority of the licence income remains with the local organisations and contributes to the financing of charitable projects.
