We are looking for an Operations Officer to join Sustainability Partners S.L, an international firm active in recycling and raw materials supply.
**Major Tasks & Responsibilities**:
- Provide general administrative support.
- Manage the export and import process from start to finish;
- Complete process of shipment includes arranging for pick-up, booking, document preparation (bill of lading, invoicing, etc.) forwarding follow-up with tracking and tracing to final destination.
- Follow the documentation cycle up to close the shipping documents process.
- Follow the customs clearance process with the customs department & brokers.
- Maintain communication and update profiles for all logistic partners.
- Managing communications between key suppliers and internal teams.
- Ensure cost-effective rates with service providers to ensure maximum profitability
- Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency.
- Monitor product import or export processes to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Monitor organizational compliance with regulations.
- Assist Accountants and other financial professionals with creating and editing financial documents.
- Maintaining bookkeeping and office accounting needs.
**Required Skill-Set**:
Ability to multitask, prioritize, manage time efficiently and work independently.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Experience working in freight-forwarding/logistics management
Familiarity with basic accounting principles and good computer skills (Excel, Word).
Native in Spanish and fluent in English, ( Italian, Arabic, German is a plus).
**Education Background**:
- BS/BA in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain.
- OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
**Work History**:
- Experience in Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain.
- Experience in sales and customer relationship management
**Necessary Skill-Set**:
- Valid Driver's License
- Own car ( is a plus )
