**What you will do**:
The activities of the public markets analyst role include:

- Researching individual companies and industries.
- Analyzing financial statements and earnings reports.
- Assessing industry trends and market dynamics.
- Valuing stocks using various methods.
- Developing investment theses and recommendations.
- Monitoring stock market trends and sentiment.
- Assisting in portfolio construction and optimization.
- Communicating insights and recommendations to clients or portfolio managers.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
