**Job description**:
You will work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial start-up environment, along with a talented, international, multidisciplinary team. Reporting to Nommon’s Chief Business Development Officer, responsibilities include:
- Contribute to the definition and execution of Nommon’s business development plan for the EMEA region.
- Monitor market trends and client expectations and contribute to the definition of innovative products, services, and business models, in collaboration with Nommon’s business units.
- Establish market strategies and strategic partnerships to expand business.
- Identify target clients in both current and new geographies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Lead the preparation of tenders.
- Monitor client status and sales opportunities, including call for tenders.
- Arrange and conduct meetings and events with clients, including product demonstrations and commercial presentations.
- Attend relevant conferences, fairs and other academic and industrial events.
**Qualifications and skills**:
Required:
- MSc in a relevant engineering field, preferably with a background in Transport Engineering and/or Transport Economics.
- 10+ years of experience with a proven track record in creating new business opportunities and translating them into technical and financial proposals.
- Experience in responding to complex government tenders.
- Experience in the transport and mobility industry and/or in other sectors dealing with geospatial data, such as urban planning, tourism and geomarketing.
- Team orientation and ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organisation.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent English and Spanish oral and written communication skills.
- Willing and able to travel as needed to achieve objectives.
Nice to have, but not indispensable:
- Experience in transport planning and modelling.
- Good command of a third language (especially German, French, Italian, Portuguese or Arabic).
**Salary and benefits**:
- Annual salary: 60.000 - 90.000 €
