**Your role**

**As a Senior Busines**s** Enterprise and Solution Architect your main responsibilities will involve**
- Define the business architecture direction and drive its execution within the organisation across the dimensions of proposition, process, people, platform, place and performance
- Business and technology thought leader in multiple domains of expertise, with an emphasis on business process and/or business data management
- Create and maintain business architecture artefacts that add tangible value to our business and technology. Promote and implement them to be used consistently by all our stakeholders across the organization. E.g., architecture standards, guidelines, principles, solution design documents, reference architectures (current state, target state), architecture models, methodologies, patterns.
- Use business architecture and service design techniques to reduce the complexity of the organisation operations and design effective, digital solutions for business opportunities and challenges. Guide the business and technology teams as well as business and technology stakeholders to implement and operate them successfully.
- Forge collaboration across relevant business and technology stakeholders
- Continuously scout the frontiers of business and technology innovation relevant to our organisation, create awareness and bring in new capabilities in the right way and time.
- Lead strategic business and technology initiatives that have a strong architecture aspect (e.g. customer orientated design, strategic insurance services and digital services).
- Drive standardization, sharing and reuse across business units and technology teams
- Business and technical analysis, consultancy for stakeholders or partners. E.g., business capability enhancement, change impact assessment, feasibility analysis, vendor package/solution evaluation, quality review, functional analysis.
- Review and assess architecture materials, business solution designs or implementation produced by other team members, business and technology vendors or partners

**Your Skills and Experience**

**As a Senior Enterprise and Solution Architect your skills and qualifications will ideally include**:

- True thought leader in business architecture and operational development who delivers results no matter what
- Business outcome and value driven consultancy skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication affinity (both written and verbal) paired with creative and original presentation skills
- Very strong overall business architecture and business design skills with true depth in multiple areas, preferably with in modern digital business E.g. Design thinking / Service design; digital proposition development, capability definition and enhancement; process management and development; Business API definition and development
- Experience in strategic insurance services such as underwriting and claims including the impact of digital and machine automation on these services
- Solid experience with architecture models, methodologies, governance
- Set the strategic direction and leading transformation at complex, global enterprises, with a mix of modern and legacy technology landscape
- Used Agile methodologies to deliver enterprise-level digital solutions
- Effective in collaborating with multiple stakeholders, including Product Owners, lines of business, technology organizations
- Experienced resources manager, strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset who challenges the status quo, drives improvements
- Degree level education (or equivalent) and 10 or more years of industry experience in business design and/or enterprise architecture, preferably in Insurance or Financial Services Industry.
