At Avature, we need developers to create our final product, but they can’t work without the proper tools. That’s why the DevOps engineer role is crucial, as they provide the proper environments and tools for everything to run as it should. The team is also important to help work towards common goals as a company, as they are the bridge that advocates for a clear and smooth communication between our IT and Development teams.
Your challenges and objectives
- Set up the monitoring of the whole system.
- Help maintain a strong and fluent relationship between the Development and the IT areas.

Your day-to-day activities
- Automate system tools and environment deploys used at Avature.
- Deploy, improve and maintain our monitoring tools.
- Stabilize corporate platform.
- Interact with other teams to promote best practices.
- Build continuous testing by automation and virtualization.

About you
- Software development skills.
- Experience in operating systems (Linux).
- Knowledge in automation, configuration management (e.g. puppet), monitoring, Python, Bash.
- Written and oral English skills.
- Experience in product as a service operation is a plus.
