**Description of functions**

**Key Responsibilities**:
Design and deploy scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant Azure solutions.

Manage and maintain Azure resources including VMs, virtual networks, storage accounts, Azure Active Directory (AAD), and resource groups.

Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance of Azure environments.

Ensure compliance with security policies and implement best practices for Azure security and governance.

Perform routine maintenance and patching of cloud-based resources.

Manage Azure backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.

Provide documentation, training, and technical support to internal teams.

**Requirements**:
**Required Qualifications & Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, firewalls, DNS, load balancing, and VPNs.
- Proficient in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI).
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., ARM, Terraform, Bicep).
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps).
- Knowledge of ITIL principles and IT operations management.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or higher (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect).
- Experience with hybrid environments and on-prem to Azure migrations.
- Working knowledge of container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
- Experience with other cloud providers (AWS, GCP) is a plus.
