We are currently looking for a Senior Director Finance Country Iberia based in Alcobendas, Madrid.

The person who assumes this position must perform the following tasks:

- Lead the finance function in the country.
- Align commercial expectations with the local Managing Directors in order to translate business plans into finance plans.
- Deliver high-quality finance support and consultancy to managers in the country
- Analyze the financial results on country level and provide Country Management with performance data, reports and analytics
- Analyze value-drivers on country-level, develop and establish financial and non-financial KPIs
- Manage the budgeting / cost center planning and reporting processes. Ensure compliance of external reporting with standards
- Prepare budget review meetings and monthly results forecasts
- Support internal performance initiatives, conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities (e.g., working capital improvement, cost efficiency programs etc.) and monitor long-term effect
- Negotiate with local banks etc. (financial engineering), while respecting Group Treasury guidelines
- Build local capacity needs and convey these into concrete plans
- Review and drive integrated processes, standards and systems
- Liaise with auditors to ensure the annual monitoring is carried out
- Support for the setup of Permanent Establishment in other countries, permanent contact with local tax and legal advisors during the projects, coordination of periodic tax and documents to be presented in each country where the company needs to register and pay taxes;
- Periodic review of all the projects with the Project Managers and joint decision of new expected GM and review of risk rates, taxation and check of correctness of invoices, etc.
- Work closely with Share Service: periodic meetings, coordination of own teams, implementation of changes and improvements.
- Debt collection and NOWC management by leading the process and bringing all the stakeholders to reach the most ambitious possible target.
- Responsible for the accuracy of local statutory accounts, audits and local tax filling. Ensure compliance to local legal and filing requirement
- Checking customer credibility and provide proper reports to sales & service sales teams
- Support HR for salaries and bonus policies
- Capex Management
- This role will act as legal entity representative of the company.

Your profile and qualifications:

- University, master’s degree in business administration, ideally with focus on finance / accounting / controlling
- Advanced knowledge and skills in accounting or controlling
- Deep understanding of all systems that interact across the spectrum of Finance
- Knowledge of industry trends, development and availability of new technologies and tools
- Strong financial modeling skills as well as business and data analysis skills
- Experience in Project Management
- Know-how acquired in another than the employee’s current organization.
- Understanding of other than just financial matters
- Deep business understanding.
- Achievements in managing legal and statutory requirement
- Frequent successful interaction with external authorities
- English (proficient), preferably local language (fluent)
