**SANTANDER CIB is looking for an ENTERPRISE BANKING ARCHITECT, based in one of our BOADILLA DEL MONTE (Madrid) offices. (Other locations such as Malaga, Spain, could be considered)**

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

As an **Enterprise Banking Architect **, you will **lead the enterprise architecture function for those services that are related to CIB Banking business, also taking into consideration the transversal aspects of the services (payments, finance, accountings, regulatory, compliance, client on/off boarding, etc..), driving the transformation and ensuring thought leadership is brough into the design and execution of the change agenda.**
- Develop and drive the implementation of the overall architecture strategy for the division, ensuring alignment with the organization's broader strategic objectives.
- Identify and evaluate emerging business models, technologies, and industry trends that can be leveraged to create new revenue streams and enhance existing CIB banking services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and sales, to design and develop innovative solutions that address market needs and differentiate our offerings in the marketplace.
- Lead the end-to-end architecture design process, from ideation and conceptualization to implementation and rollout, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure buy-in and support for new business models and initiatives.
- Champion a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the CIB Banking division, fostering an environment that encourages creative problem-solving and the exploration of new ideas.

EXPERIENCE
- 10+ year of experience in senior leadership roles with direct exposure to IT run and change agenda in the lending and wholesale credit side.
- Desirable: Experience in Control Functions, with direct exposure to operational and financial risks.
- Desirable: Experience in delivering organizational transformations.

EDUCATION
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Solid written and verbal communication skills, both in English, Spanish and/or Portuguese.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with experience in multi-cultural environments.
- Strong organizational skills, experience in planning and leading strategic transformation initiatives.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Knowledge of regulatory, compliance and operations requirements and procedures.
- Relevant experience in Agile methodologies.
- Desirable knowledge in public clouds, devops platforms / methodology, APIs.

OTHER INFORMATION
- Readiness to travel on a frequent basis to the different locations where SCIB is present (Europe, North America, Latam and South Asia).
