**Job purpose**
We’re looking to hire someone to join our growing internal marketing team to focus on digital marketing support. Sitting within our Commercial - Business Development department this role supports our marketing efforts by driving digital content, campaigns and analysis.
You’ll be a talented, motivated and organised digital marketing professional with an array of digital and campaign skills, and desire to assist in the delivery of world-class SEO, PPC and social media campaigns.
Highly organised and eager to learn quickly, you’ll support the internal marketing team and be willing to get stuck in to get the job done. An agency background is preferred, and experience working in the pharmaceutical sector or other B2B industries is desirable but not essential. Your tenacity, solutions focused approach and positive attitude are what matters most You will however, need to have a keen interest in digital marketing and the platforms, scheduling software and tools that deliver world-class results. Ideally you will have a working knowledge of Google analytics and campaign optimisation techniques or a willingness to learn quickly and develop analytical skills.
**Principal job elements & responsibilities**
In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of digital marketing campaigns using techniques including (but not limited to): SEO optimisation, PPC management and social media campaign development and implementation. From assisting with auditing and analysing to technical troubleshooting and reporting, you’ll cover the full spectrum of digital marketing with delegated responsibility to deliver against agreed KPIs.
A broad knowledge of the digital industry and the latest marketing trends is important. If there’s a Google algorithm change or a new LinkedIn advertising feature, you’ll be one of the first to know and will help to adapt our campaigns accordingly. You’ll need to have knowledge of or willingness to learn about search engines and relevant tools such as GoogleAds, LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Moz.
**Skills and experience**
We are looking for someone with experience of the following areas (additional skills and knowledge are welcome):
**SEO**
- Supporting keyword research to identify suitable keyword targeting based on business goals and competitor activities.
- Assisting on in-depth technical audits using tools such as Moz, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs and SEMRush.
- Inputting into tailored, in-depth, actionable SEO and content strategies to achieve company goals and stay ahead of the competition.
- Supporting the implementation of on-site optimisation by creating metadata, optimising content, developing website architecture and internal linking.
**PPC**
- Assisting with audits across existing GoogleAds accounts and creating actionable recommendations.
- Creating and managing GoogleAds campaigns, including keyword research and writing ad copy.
- Budget management and optimisation to ensure campaigns are on target and spending efficiently.
**Social media**
- Helping to develop and implement organic B2B LinkedIn strategies, creating content calendars, and reporting on results.
- Supporting the creation of LinkedIn advertising campaigns using specific ad types that best fit client objectives.
- Providing reporting and analysis for website traffic, profiles and rankings etc., to inform strategies using Google Analytics and Google Data Studio.
**General skills**
- Organising and prioritising workloads, meeting tight deadlines and multitasking to keep on top of multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Great communication skills, liaising with team members to update them on campaign progress and answering questions in a comprehensive and in-depth manner.
- Sound reporting and presentation skills, a willingness to learn and develop your digital and marketing skills.
- The ability to work in a high energy and high performing team to deliver exceptional results.
