**POSITION OVERVIEW**

The Catalonia Quantum Academy (CQA) is a collaborative initiative led by ICFO on behalf of the Catalan quantum science and technology community, bringing together universities, research centers, and companies active in the field. CQA’s mission is to coordinate and promote world-class training programs that support the development of the next generation of quantum scientists, engineers, and innovators.

We are seeking a proactive, motivated, and independent individual to join the **CQA team as Undergraduate Training Programs Manager**. This role will focus on coordinating undergraduate-level training activities across CQA partners, helping to strengthen the quantum talent pipeline in Catalonia.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Coordinate undergraduate-level training initiatives and programs across CQA partner institutions, and drive the development of new initiatives, including e.g. summer schools, community building activities, hackathons, internships, and mobility opportunities.
- Liaise with partners to ensure smooth coordination, communication, and information flow.
- Engage with undergraduate student community across the CQA community.
- Develop and maintain documentation, procedures, and information resources for undergraduate programs.
- Organize and attend regular meetings with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring follow-up on actions and decisions.
- Plan and distribute tasks, ensuring alignment with partner needs and project objectives.
- Monitor program milestones, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of activities and outputs.
- Prepare reports and documentation on program outcomes, achievements, and impact.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**
- A university degree, preferably in physics, mathematics, engineering or a related degree with direct experience in quantum science and technology. A master in a related field will be highly valued.
- Fluency in English required. Fluency in Catalan and Spanish would be a bonus.
- Two or more years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in academic education, training, or research environments.
- Familiarity with academic networks and/or collaborative projects, ideally at the regional, European or international level.
- Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-institutional team.
- Eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute to the development of a dynamic new initiative.
- Flexibility to work occasional non-standard hours during events or meetings.

**CONDITIONS**

This is a full-time fixed-term position linked to the duration of the project.

A competitive salary within ICFO’s salary scales will be offered, commensurate with the seniority of the applicant.
