**Job Description**:
Application Solution Engineer (ASE) is a cross-role within the corporate Information Technology (IT) team.

The ASE is responsible for providing effort estimates, validating 3rd party estimates and overseeing the activities of the development estimation process, validating and the required workload for the different phases of developments.

With your technical expertise and following market best practices, you will ensure that the technical designs of software developments are up to market & SGS standards, whether done internally or by a third party, working closely with the enterprise architecture department at SGS.

**More specifically, you will**:

- Acting as a trusted advisor providing value-added Sitecore solutions to complex real-world problems.
- Guiding the impact assessment on various change initiatives around the current and future technology landscape.
- Reviewing evolving requirements and working with stakeholders to make enhancements & changes to the architecture through a collaborative process with the team.
- Contributing to developing and evolving the technical roadmap, technology governance processes, architecture principles, design guidelines and relevant standards within the organisation.
- Know in detail the reference standards & best practices defined by Enterprise Architecture and Security SGS departments, to ensure technical design quality and vulnerability compliance.
- Validate and enrich technical impact assessments.
- Ensure Technical coordination for deployment activities.

**Qualifications**:

- Sitecore Content Search with Solr. Coveo Search for Sitecore knowledge is a plus.
- Sitecore Headless. Sitecore JavaScript Rendering SDK (JSS) for React knowledge is a plus.
- Azure DevOps CI/CD Pipelines.
- Azure Cloud Architecture. Sitecore hosting with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) is a plus.
- REST & WSL API Integration.
- Defining, controlling, and improving software life cycle processes.
- Risk management, quality, security, privacy and safety.
- Broad multi-technology knowledge, with focus on technologies more widely used in SGS.
- Methods and tools for development
- Experience with the tool set of development methodologies (Agile, DevOps, Lean)
- System and software life cycle engineering.
- Programming development.
